Website with waiting room and poetry. Once 8 unique users are in the waiting room, the website automatically invites the user to read the above text aloud with the rest of the users.
For simultaneity, there was pre-planned readings every hour on the hour for 2 days and QR codes were set up around Morningside Heights in New York. Links were also distributed online.

footsteps

Exploded view of the track "footsteps, heartbeat, laughter", from the golden record aboard the voyager. the track is split into 5 visual languages (poetry, musical, binary, file data, wave form) and printed on acetate so new scores may emerge. In a gallery setting, viewers were encouraged to touch, move and create further responses.
